Rants & Raves

OK…those of you who know me know that nothing jerks my chain or rattles my cage worse than bad customer service.  This, along with my experiences of the past week – which I will get into later, have prompted me to start  a new category on my blog called  “Rants & Raves”.

There is no question about the power of Social Media in today’s world.  It can be an overwhelming force in your business and that force can be positive or negative, your choice.  But this is a topic for another post, another time.  But, I will say this… you folks who have a business, run a business, or just work for a company that provides goods and services, from the CEO to your lowest paid employee or temp for that matter… pay attention, people are talking about you, your employees and the way you conduct your business.  You can ignore it and pay the price or pay attention and take advantage of an opportunity.

I want to create a venue where you, dear reader, can vent  about those experiences that you’d like to save anyone else, friend or foe, from having.  But, I also want to hear  you sing the praises of those businesses and services that go beyond and above your expectations.  Sometimes, we are quick to condemn, but we also need to give kudos to those folks who you enjoy doing business with.  So have at it, keep it clean, and send your stories my way and I will make sure you have a voice.
